It is forbidden to smoke on the streets in Japan. It is very important to us that our guests are aware of it, and behave accordingly. Having said that, we would like to reassure our smoking guests, since special smoking areas could be found in the streets. If you were caught smoking outside those areas, expect a 1000¥ fine.
